To celebrate the vibrant culture of our nation, class 10-A presented an assembly on the occasion of Independence day. The assembly began with the lighting of Diya's, asking yod for his grace. The students presented a prayer dance comprising various dance forms from all over the country. A patriotic poem gave goosebumps to the audience telling a heroic tale. The recent Pahalgam attack and operation Sindoor were vividly described, through a presentation and a skit. At last our prayer service ended with petitions to the ford for the prosperity of our country.
Our manager, Sr. Sheeba enlightened us with her words of wisdom and motivated the students to take responsibility for their nation. Then we began with the house competition The junior classes enthusiastically sang patristic songs. The first position was achieved by the Red house and the second position was achieved by the Green house. The senior classes presented a dance drama which touched the hearts of the audience. Though all the houses. performed splendidly, the winners were Green and Blue house. Our principal, Sr. Manjusha fraised the students. she mentioned that the dance drama left the audience teary eyed. Hence, the display of patriotism came to end with the the no national anthem.
