On the auspicious occasion of the Silver Jubilee of Uttarakhand’s Foundation Day (9th November), a grand band performance competition was organized in Nainital, where teams from six reputed schools participated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

St. Mary’s Convent School proudly secured the First Position, displaying remarkable discipline, harmony, and musical excellence. A total of 23 students participated from the school, performing under the able guidance of our respected Principal, Rev. Sr. Manjusha.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Kumaon Commissioner Mr. Deepak Rawat, Chairperson Mrs. Saraswati Khetwal, and many other distinguished dignitaries and reverend guests, who appreciated the performances wholeheartedly.

The highlight of the event was the St. Mary’s band’s melodious presentation of the popular Kumaoni song “Bedu Pako Bara Masa.” The audience cheered with joy, clapped in rhythm, and the entire venue echoed with the spirit of Uttarakhand’s rich culture and pride.

Everyone admired the beautiful costumes, perfect synchronisation, and lively presentation of the St. Mary’s band team. It was truly a proud and memorable moment for the entire St. Mary’s family.
